Sword of Doom

Sword of Doom originally took form as a Japanese novel published in forty-one volumes beginning in 1913. It later won fame as the violent samurai film. The story follows a nihilistic swordsman as he becomes a killing machine. In this particular scene, the swordsman, Gray, is confronted by a woman warning him of avengers in the forest. Gray pushes the woman away, and enters the path. With an eerie calm, Gray kills each man, leaving behind him a wake of bloodshed.
